BREAKING: Hull City appoint Marco Silva as new team manager


Hull City have confirmed the appointment of former Olympiakos manager Marco Silva as the club's new boss.

The 39-year-old Portuguese has signed a deal with the relegation threatened club until the end of the season at the KCOM Stadium.

Silva replaces Mike Phelan who was sacked on Tuesday with the Tigers bottom of the Premier League.

Silva left the Greek side in the summer. He had previously been linked with managerial vacancies at Championship sides Wolves and Nottingham Forest.

Hull's last game in the Premier League was a 3 - 1 loss to West Brom.
